Why do you need a boat?

As you likely know already, our fire district covers a very large amount of public waterways including the meramec river, the huzzah and courtois creeks, and more. every summer tens of thousand of tourist come to steelville to enjoy the water and a boat helps us keep everyone safe including our residents and our guests.

How many Trucks do you guys have?

We have 12 Trucks, including the following.

• 4 engines

• 3 tankers

• 3 brush trucks

• 1 squad

• 1 rescue

  Fun fact we also have a boat and a side by side for our fire fighters to use in numerous different scenarios
